Cloud Peak 2 - 8.5mm Replacement Tent Poles
Our 8.5mm 7001-T6 tent poles are a direct replacement for any damaged Cloud Peak 2 tent pole, or an upgrade over the original 7.9mm tent poles that came with earlier versions of the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 tents as standard.
Available as a single pole, two poles or a full set of three poles. Also available is a single tent pole repair section (which will need cutting down to fit an existing original Cloud Peak 2 8.5mm pole - or you can leave a note telling us the required section length and we will cut it down to the correct size for you).
Each tent pole is identical in length and measures 3728mm including the end plugs (end fittings). A tent pole emergency repair sleeve is included with any full tent pole order.
Note: Our poles are straight poles without the pre-curved sections of the poles that come as standard with the Naturehike tent. However our non-precurved tent poles work just fine and we have in fact supplied many of these straight tent poles to replace damaged Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 poles without any issues.

Cloud Peak 2 - Upgrade to 9.5mm Tent Poles
Our 9.5mm 7001-T6 tent poles are an upgrade over the 7.9mm or 8.5mm tent poles that come with the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 as standard. At 9.5mm in diameter, these tent poles are substantially thicker, providing a stronger, far more rigid support for your tent. Made from high quality 7001-T6 aluminium alloy.
Available as a single pole, two poles or a full set of three poles. Also available is a single repair section.
Each tent pole is identical in length and measures 3728mm including the end plugs (end fittings). A single tent pole repair sleeve is included with any full tent pole order.
Again Please Note: Our poles are straight poles without the pre-curved sections of the poles that come as standard with the some of the original Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 tents. We would not recommend mixing our 9.5mm tent poles with existing thinner Cloud Peak 2 poles as they will flex differently resulting in a mismatch of stresses on the tent as a whole. Hence if upgrading to 9.5mm tent poles from your existing thinner poles then ideally a full set would be required.
The one and two pole options are essentially spares for existing Cloud Peak 2 tents employing 9.5mm poles or for replacing existing 9.5mm tent poles.

Naturehike Cloud Up 2 Replacement Tent Pole
Our 8.5mm 7001-T6 tent pole is a direct replacement for any damaged Cloud Up 2 tent pole. But please note that this pole is for the upgraded Cloud Up 2 tent with the twin Y pole as opposed to the single Y pole of the original version.

Our ProFlex replacement tent poles are made from aluminium alloy 7001 and tempered to T6 standard. 7001-T6 aluminium alloy is generally regarded as the best aluminium alloy for lightweight tent poles providing the best balance between weight and strength. This aluminium alloy is pretty much the standard used in all high quality, high end tents, including such as Terra Nova and Hilleberg, which use Korean company DAC and Yunan tent poles. That said, DAC do however use their own proprietary derivative of 7001 aluminium alloy tempered to T8 (TH72M) for their tent poles.
In reality the performance difference between DAC’s 7001-T8 aluminium alloy and the more standard 7001-T6 aluminium alloy is marginal, and in more cases than not, the lower cost of standard 7001-T6 aluminium alloy will perform equally as well under most conditions. 7001-T6 is used in the manufacture of tent poles because it has an excellent strength to weight ratio and a high yield rate – that is the amount it can flex before being permanently deformed... or actually breaking.it.
