We are having manufactured and now stocking a variety of small thermoplastic accessories that are very useful, not only for Camping and Backpacking, but also for a variety of other applications. Some of these very useful items are extremely hard, if not impossible to find, so we had them made ourselves. Made from a tough, resilient and impact resistant thermoplastic called polyoxymethylene (or POM for short), they are of far greater quality than similar items made from cheaper and inferior plastics such as PVC. And unlike cheaper plastics, POM has a wide stable temperature range (-40° C to +120°C) so will not go soft and pliable under hotter conditions, nor become brittle and fail under colder conditions.
