TS-1000 Gas Stove Cooking Kit & BRS-11 Gas Stove Cooking Kit
The following two cooking kits feature identical items apart from the gas stoves themselves. The cooking kit choice is simply between the TS-1000 gas stove and the BRS-11 gas stove.

Lightweight Anodised Aluminium Cookware Set (400 grams)
Features:
As with all backpacking and camping equipment there are always compromises and pros and cons. This cooking set is made from strong, lightweight anodised aluminium at a fraction of the cost of titanium cookware. And on the plus side, aluminium conducts better and so transfers heat much efficiently than titanium cookware. This is lightweight travelling cookware for outdoor pursuits, ideally suited for 1 person... and is NOT suitable for family cooking! Ultimately, this aluminium cooking set is lightweight, economic, and will do the job when you need a hot meal and a hot drink. But please be aware of its limitations and don't expect to be able to produce a 3 course Sunday lunch from it.
Stainless Steel 3 Piece Folding Cutlery (80 grams)
A compact, folding 3 piece stainless steel cutlery set. Lightweight, but made from very strong, corrosion resistant stainless steel.
Aluminium Mug, 300ml (62 grams)
Lightweight Aluminium Mug with folding handle. Not too small or over-large, ideal size for backpacking.
Emergency Fire Starter (14 grams)
The gas stove in the cooking kit does have a piezo electronic ignition, but should this ever fail, then the stove can easily be lit with this emergency fire lighter. And of course it can also be used to start any other fire for cooking (or warmth) if necessary, so a handy little item to pack on any adventure out into the wilderness. Simply run the long side of the metal blade firmly down the ferrocerium rod to produce a mass of sparks.

Lightweight camping stove for outdoor enthusiasts that prefer alcohol/spirit fuels stoves as opposed to gas or solid fuel. These lightweight stoves are aimed particularly at Hikers, Trekkers, Backpackers and Campers who want to be able to make hot food and drink whilst travelling extremely light. This stove will burn methylated spirits or denatured alcohol.
This stove comes with a leak-proof travelling lid, but unlike some similar stoves that are available, this stove comes complete with its dedicated cooking stand and also features a dousing lid for safely extinguishing the stove after use. The dousing lid can also be used to adjust the flame output, hence can act as a simmer control. Furthermore, and again unlike some other stoves, the dousing lid itself features a small handle which allows you to extinguish the flames without burning your fingers. This great little stove weighs in at just 145g and comes with its own textile packing pouch (154g with pouch).

Wood Burning Stove Backpacking Cooking Kit

This is a pretty comprehensive wood burning stove cooking kit with everything needed to make hot food and drinks.
This cooking kit comprises the following:
All these items pack into the large anodised aluminium pot, with the smaller anodised aluminium pot as a lid, which then packs into a dedicated mesh bag.
The large anodised aluminium pot is 140mm wide by 114mm high, whilst the smaller anodised aluminium pot is 132mm wide by 63mm high. Total pack size: 170mm high by 130mm wide, total weight: 800 grams.
Wood burning stoves tend to be enjoyed by backpackers and campers who may be away from civilisation for some time, are in no particular hurry, and do not want to have to carry fuel (such as gas canisters) with them, or indeed rely on a fuel which may run out on them. These stainless steel wood burning stoves can burn twigs, dry leaves and any other wood lying about, so at most times of the year fuel will never be an issue, and you do not have to carry multiple days worth of fuel with you.
These wood burning stoves unpack and fit together to stand 210mm high by 115mm wide. This is a really neat wood burning stove capable of boiling water and cooking food quite efficiently once fired up, and a decent size side aperture allows easy feeding of fuel to keep the stove going.

Base Camp/Fishing/Car Camping Gas Stove Cooking Kit
A great kit for making yourself a hot food and drink on a cold day. Due to the incorporated kettle this kit is slightly too large and slightly too heavy to be classed as a true lightweight backpacking cooking kit. It is however, ideal for car camping, for use at a base camp, and indeed great for fishermen sitting for hours on the river bank. The kettle is far more stable on a stove and less likely to spill when heating water than regular pots and pans, but of course this benefit does come at a cost in terms of weight and bulk.
